Welcome to Your Creative Family

Welcome to this space.  I am so glad you are here. The Natural Wanderer stemmed from the idea of wanting to help other creative businesswomen live in more self-awareness and self-acceptance in their business and life.  The quote from J.R.R. Tolkien often comes to mind when owning a business, "Not all who wander are lost." Often times we can feel lonely in this journey and just want to get to t he destination, but the journey is, in fact, the place where we learn the most about ourselves and the most about our purpose.

When I was a kind, I used to believe that I could fly, like, really believe it.  I would imagine me flapping my arms however fast or slow I would like to move, and the speed would effect the height of my flight.  I would look down at the people below, and it was a way for me to escape to all kinds of places.  As an introvert, I  often times feel like I am still flying high above others and just observing those around me.  I find contentment in the solitude and enjoy learning more about others by listening.  However, as an introvert in a loud world, there is still room for us to speak up and become quiet leaders.

The Natural Wanderer strives to prepare education and reflections for those of us who like to sit and contemplate.  Ultimately, the Natural Wanderer will be a retreat for introverted creative businesswomen to gather in a small group setting to learn more about feeling confident in your voice and business while also learning a business skill that will be implemented right away.  I understand how overwhelming it can be to go to a conference or sit with a group of unknown people for a long amount of time, so the retreat will strive to build meaningful connections and help leave you less overwhelmed in your business and life.

While that is all being planned, in the meantime, we will focus on developing ourselves into the person we hope to be and gaining self-awareness to feel more balanced and celebratory of where we are right now in this journey.  But I must be honest.  I do not have all the answers.  I do not have a perfect creative business and I do not have a perfect life, but I am hoping that in looking inward with a group of people also searching for this same sense of calm, t hat we are help each other be ok with where life and business is actually taking us, because it is usually not where we planned.

On that note, I invite you to start your business self-exploration by signing up for the mailing list to receive the monthly Reflection  Sheet.  Each month the Reflection Sheet will provide you with a tool to guide your understanding of yourself and your business to work toward more confidence and self-awareness.  These will then help in learning to embrace and love yourself the way you are and be acceptance of this journey you are on.

Wandering sounds like we are lost, but you are not lost.  You are right where you need to be, and you are enough.
